De Coolsingers
De Coolsingers is a 17-member men’s choir from Rotterdam, founded in 1999. The singers are 19-35 years old, performing a capella music spanning from the Middle Ages to contemporary works. The name of the choir is derived from the main street in Rotterdam “De Coolsingel”, with a pun on the English pronunciation of the name.
The choir had a successful trip to Baltimore in 2008, and is planning a follow-up visit to Baltimore in Fall 2010. During their 2008 tour, they performed at Baltimore schools, City Hall, Enoch Pratt Free Library, Pennsylvania Station, churches, and senior centers.
Please contact us if your organization is interested in hosting a concert with the choir in Fall 2010.
